Doing horrible things to myself for charity

Between shifts at Cycleshack I’ve had a bit more chance to get out on the bike recently. I thought I’d put that time to good use by raising money for an important local charity, Chailey Heritage Foundation, which looks after young people with extreme and complex disabilities and health needs. More than ever, in this time of crisis they need our help to carry on their caring work.

10x10x10 for Chailey Heritage

So here is my plan. I will ride up ten different horrid local climbs (or sets of climbs) ten times for ten days. I’ve already done five, including up to Kingston Ridge, Black Cap and Keere St.  I’ve done these on quiet evenings and have maintained my social distance.

I have set up a justgiving page, where all donations will go directly to Chailey Heritage Foundation.

Your chance to make me suffer

For a donation of £25 you get to nominate a local hill of your choice. If I get a lot of nominations then I will keep this challenge running for longer than ten days. I may regret this.

I know times are tight for everyone, but please give whatever you can.

Thank you

Richard
