This is a little film put together by one of our much-loved customers – Jason “the eBiking Giant” (and he’s not kidding).
At nearly seven feet tall and around twenty two stone there’s no denying his giant stature. A career playing rugby at a top professional club in New Zealand left Jason with very badly damaged knees. A couple of years ago he was looking for a way to get back into high intensity exercise. A normal pushbike would have been too much of a strain for his knees, but an eBike would give him just the assistance he needed.
He came in to try an eBike and that was it – the start of a new passion. He’s done thousands of miles over the past year, his fitness has improved hugely and he’s always got a smile on his face. On our shop rides he has done sterling work riding past us to open gates with a cry of “I’m only in eco (the lowest assistance setting) you know” and widening the trails through the woods in Stanmer. Oh, and he’s developed a serious brake pad habit.
Come and try an eBike. It could be the start of a whole new way of life.
